- Expert Advisory Board: 5.8 years: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Planning site visits to gather information and deciding scope areas to determine energy use, energy loss and potential energy saving in industrial facilities. - Performing statistical analysis of captive power plants of industries to find overall system efficiency and fuel cost optimization opportunities. - Compressed air system performance analysis and inspection of key parameters including electrical consumption, volumetric flow, airflow leakages survey and air demand analysis. - Inspection of the installed humidification plants, HVAC, Air Conditioners, chillers and cooling towers. - Inspection of water pumps w.r.t electrical consumption and pump efficiency curve. - Motor performance analysis of machines to analyze motor running parameters and analysis of motor rewinding losses. - Load management & power quality testing (voltage unbalance and total harmonics analysis) at main LT, sub distribution boards and processing machines as per standards. - Inspection of Main LT Panel, PFI Plants & MCC Panels as per standards. - Inspection of steam boilers w.r.t electrical consumption. - Hot spots identifications in electrical circuit using IRT Thermography. - Feasibility study and evaluation of Solar PV System. - Inspection of overall earthing system. - The analysis and assessment of lighting system and proposing energy efficient lighting plans. - Establishing baseline and Key Performance Indicators [KPIs] to analyze specific energy consumption. - Estimation of CO2 reduction under scope I and II. - Determining cost benefit element of the implementation plans. - Presenting findings and proposed energy management programs to business executive. - Assisting the industrial partners in developing action plans. Monitoring and evaluation of interventions made by the industries on regular intervals. - Engaged in training, demonstrations & public awareness seminars.
